SWIRLING LIGHTS OF PAMPANGA – Sparks fly from the Pampanga Eye, the country’s biggest and tallest Ferris wheel, as it is transformed into a giant pin wheel firecracker, or ‘trumpilyo,’ complete with grand lights and sound at the Sky Ranch in SM City Pampanga. The Singapore National Day Parade is a national ceremony in Singapore that, as its name implies, includes a parade on Singapore’s National Day on August 9, in commemoration of Singapore’s independence.With the theme #One Nation Together. This year’s National Day Parade (NDP2017), which will be held at the Marina Bay Floating Platform with a Magnificent Fireworks Display , will pay special tribute to national servicemen as Singapore celebrates 50 years of National Service. The 2017 Southeast Asian Games, officially known as the 29th Southeast Asian Games. and commonly known as Kuala Lumpur 2017 is a Southeast Asian multi-sport event that will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 19 to 30 August 2017, with 404 events in 38 sports to be featured in the games. This will be the sixth time Malaysia host the games and its first time since 2001. Previously, it also hosted the 1965, 1971, 1977 and 1989 editions of the games. A colourful FIREWORKS DISPLAY Opening then erupted over the National Stadium with the crowd whipping out their smartphones and cameras to record the occasion. GlobalFest is an annual cultural celebration in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The festival has been held every August since 2003,[1] and is organized by The Calgary Fireworks Festival Society.
